Enterprise 2.0 Conference

I am preparing for my (1st) annual pilgrimage to Boston on June 9, for the Enterprise 2.0 Conference. Looking forward to getting all the latest info and news from inside the echo chamber. Now don’t get me wrong, I love seeing the new tech stuff on display and hearing the heated philosophical discussions over a beer (or several), but what I really want to hear are the conversations about real business benefit. You know, the things that will have the CFO salivating and make the VP of Marketing act like he just read an in-flight magazine.

Boston, MA

I will be reporting about the event from this blog and from Twitter. My objective is to talk to the leading thinkers and the hot vendors that focus on tools and processes intended to help develop the Connected Enterprise. What I will be asking them is, “how does this stuff really help an organization?” I plan on reporting what I hear as answers.

(Quick note: I have decided to use the term “Enterprise 2.0” only as a label for this conference. I prefer the term “Connected Enterprise” to describe the general concepts addressed by the conference.)

I am looking forward to the event, partly because of what I will learn, but primarily because of who I will meet.
