Great post!  Connecting with people is one key to employee engagement and social networking technologies help people connect across distances.  They also help people identify shared interests, which facilitates human connections.  

I believe Web 2.0 is leveraging the benefits of organizational culture.  Open, learning cultures grow stronger with Web 2.0 and weak cultures are left further behind.  I'm presently giving this topic a lot of thought because I'm writing an article on it for a national magazine.  I look forward to learning more of your thoughts.</description>
